I love hoodies...the heavier the better. This hoodie was quite expensive, but is thick, well made and seemingly built to last. I washed it and though there was some shrinkage (as expected with all hoodies) it wasn't too bad. This hoodie fit true to size and keeps me warm in the wind and very light rain - it is not designed for rain and it does absorb water. Great hoodie overall, I'd buy it again.
